Coronavirus: 11 new cases across the Moorlands


The current total of coronavirus cases in the UK stands at just above 514,500 after a daily increase of 12,594.

Staffordshire now has a total of 5,696 cases after an increase of 115, of them 529 are in the Moorlands,an increase of 11.

Stoke-on-Trent is recorded separately from the rest of the county and now has 2,209, a daily increase of 28.

19 more people have died with coronavirus in the UK over the last 24 hours taking the total to 42,369.
Daily positive test results are artificially higher following a technical glitch where roughly 15,000 tests we’re not added to figures between September 25th and October 2nd
